Another 1-2 punch

Hi everyone,

After I didn't have any good feelings in the beginning of the day, I finally was able to let my day fade away with a super result. Also in Germany, Andi Prommegger and I were able to celebrate another 1-2.

In our final, I was 23 hundredths behind after the first run. In the rerun, I managed to catch up, take over the lead - until - well, until I made a mistake at the fifth to last gate which simply knocked me to my belly.

But the slope was in super good conditions - thanks to all the workers and volunteers who did a terrific job in preparing the slope as sleet, wind and fog made it pretty tough for them. But at the Sudelfeld, we kind of always expect the worst weather conditions.

Now, I'm looking forward to the Olympics, the travelling, the mood and also to the race!

On February 15th, we are flying to Sun Peaks as three days of training are scheduled - with no Olympic stress. Thereafter, I'm heading to San Francisco with Andi Prommegger. We are planning to rent some motor bikes in order to explore the city and the area around.

Thanks for crossing fingers and all the best
Benny
