Today, I was able to bring home another victory on the hill I like the most (it’s a three-peat here in Stoneham). And there was no better time to do so in order to show everyone before the Olympics what I want to go for in Vancouver. ;)
The slope was extremely icy and there were some hard hits on the course that you noticed them with all your body. But the harder the conditions, the better I get. So, I didn’t have any close duels – except the one with my friend and team mate Andreas Prommegger.
Before we flew to Quebec, my girl friend’s dad had said to me that I should win before I go to the Olympics – just to make sure that I get to know the feeling of being on top again.
Jasey Jay Anderson came in third – this means Austria was also able to end the winning streak of the Canadian team which had triumphed in every single PGS so far.
Today’s race also wrapped up the national Olympic qualifiers. But we will find out who will go to the Olympics tomorrow. But I guess I made it ;)
Thanks to everyone who was crossing fingers for me. You are the best.

Another triumph in my "living room"
