Same procedure as last year...

Dear friends,

For a few days now, I’m in Korea, in the Yongpyong resort. It’s the fifth time that I’m in this country for some snowboarding and I noticed one thing: everything looks the same.

Every time you travel to Korea it’s the same routine: you arrive at the Incheon airport and directly jump in a bus to travel about three hours from Seoul to the countryside in the Northeast of South Korea.

Then you hit a small resort with a small hill being surrounded by a few hotels.

However, the snow is good and my memories are even better. I was able to win my first ever world cup here in Korea. In addition, I clinched my first World Championships title in 2009.

This time, we will race in a parallel slalom. It will be the first one in Korea except the world championships in 2009. And as I feel very comfortable on my board at the moment I just enjoy the time and look forward to tomorrow’s race.

But for sure I hope that you will cross fingers for me, while you are sleeping… ;)

Cheers

Benny
