Alex Pullin and Markus Schairer dictate the rhythm

The last two Snowboard Cross World Champions have underlined today, that they are both willing to give it another shot.

Reigning title holder Alex Pullin (AUS) posted the best time on the – compared to previous World Cup races – extended course.

The rider from down under killed it on the 1,003 metres long course which provides a total of 13 features in 1:02.15 minutes.

Markus Schairer (AUT), who won Gold in 2009, finished in the runner-up position just one hundredths of a second behind.

Lluis Marin Tarroch (AND, 1:02.36), Christopher Robanske (CAN, 1:02.41) and Nick Baumgartner (USA, 1:02.61) were the other three riders to beat the 1:03 minutes.

The finals of the top 48 will be held in heats of 6 starting on Saturday at 11 AM.
