Boarder cross elite to train in Cardrona

The reason is simple: to train and prepare for the up-coming World Cup season which opens on December 6 thru 8 with two races hosted in Schruns, Austria.

With Australia's head coach Ben Wordsworth to assist, Anders Forsell flew in a few weeks ago to build a course which reigning World Champion Alex Pullin called “the most fun, challenging full length course I have ever trained on” in his latest blog.

“Chumpy” also added: “For every moment I spend on this course I’ll be sure to have a grin from ear to ear, pushing my riding and enjoying this sport I love so much!”

Check out some riding impressions from the course provided by SSWSC Snowboard Team: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=4571301518949.

But the Aussie top gun and his fellow countryman and rising star Jarry Hughes are not the only ones enjoying the superb set-up the Swedish course builder has put together with the support of the Cardrona crew.

Also some riders of the US team are expected to get some runs over the next couple of days as several of them have undertaken the trip to down under – including top athletes Nick Baumgartner and Nate Holland.
