Italia's very own Raffaella Brutto and Poland's top gun Mateusz Ligocki have claimed victory in today's Snowboard Cross Europa Cup opener held in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Brutto, who had nailed her career's first World Cup podium two weeks ago in Schruns/Montafon, Austria, beat German Champion Luca Berg as well as the French duo Pauline Tilloy and Oceane Pozzo in the women's final.
On the men's side, Ligocki held the upper hand over Konstantin Schad (GER) as well as Fabio Cordi (ITA) and Pierre Ramoin.
Tomorrow's second race on the same slope will also be broadcasted live on www.snowboardclubcortina.com.
