Mens's qualifiers done – women's qualifiers postponed

While a total of 67 riders were able to compete for the 48 final seats on the men's side, the women have to sleep one more night to find out who will battle for first, second and third at Veysonnaz second snowboard cross race.

Due to the wind, which got stronger during the day, the women's first qualifying run got cut short. However, all 30 girls will have two runs tomorrow morning right before the finals will take place at 12 PM.

While the women were forced to take a break, the men were able to get things done. Best qualifier, once again, was Australia's reigning World Champion Alex Pullin.

The SBX World Cup title defender nailed a time of 59.23 seconds in run #1 and thus edged off Michael Haemmerle (AUT, 59.34) and Konstantin Schad (GER, 59.41) to second and third.

Last one to qualify was Ivan Bracht from Argentina (1:03.56), who was 4.33 seconds slower than today's fastest man on track.
