The rooster now settles down at Lake Tekapo to do some on snow training in the ski area of Roundhill.

The team had spent the last 14 days at Snowpark, Treble Cone and Cardrona Alpine Ski Resort; and according to head coach Tom Weninger, those two weeks had been pretty successful.

"We had very good snow and weather conditions. We were able to not only do some testing with the new equipment such as boards and plats but also do some real gate training."

Also for Roundhill, which offers more snow and also higher temperatures, the Austrian team captain hopes for some more comprehensive data.

"We train under varying conditions and thus collect a lot of snow kilometers."

According to the intensive program, the squad didn't have much time to relax. Especially as everyone organized his leisure time with a special experience.

Julia Dujmovits, Marion Kreiner, Ina Meschik, Heidi Neururer, Claudia Riegler, Sabine Schöffmann, Andreas Lausegger, Lukas Mathies, Andreas Prommegger, Toni Unterkofler, Ingemar Walder and Manuel Veith climbed the peak of Mount John.
