It couldn't have been timed any better.
With eyes on the first ever World Cup to be staged in Rogla, the local organizers produced a promo video for the debut – featuring a local talent which grew up on the slopes of the second ever Slovenian resort to host the world's best on World Cup level.
Before, only Maribor did organize snowboard WC events in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
And as sport is still stranger than fiction, it is this particularly featured rider who crowned himself World Champion some two weeks ago in Stoneham, Canada.
Rok Marguc took Gold in the parallel slalom and is now entering the first competition wearing this title on his home slope.
So, let's get pumped for Rogla:
