Tomorrow's slopestyle competition will get things started at the 10th FIS Snowboard World Championships staged in Stoneham and Quebec City, Canada.
The qualifiers for the first medal event of the two weeks lasting highlight of the season kicks off with the women heats 1 and 2 at 9:50 AM (training to open at 9 AM).
The men will follow with heat 1 and 2 at 12:10 PM (training at 11:20 AM) as well as at 2:30 PM with heat 3 and 4 (training 1:40 PM).
The qualifiers (two runs for each rider) will be run in the double up format which means that riders from two different heats enter the course on a rotating base getting judged on overall impression.
The best two of each heat will go directly to the finals scheduled for Friday, Jan 18, 12 PM.
The riders ranked 3 to 5 of each heat will compete in the two run semi finals (best run counts, Friday, Jan 18, 9:50 AM) of six women and twelve men with the best two women and four men completing the finals of the top six women and twelve men.
The finals will also feature two runs each with the best one counting for the final ranking.
