Sébastien Toutant will jump in Québec

Canadian freestyle snowboarder Sebastien Toutant of l’Assomption, in Québec, will be competing for Canada in the big air at the LG FIS Snowboard World Cup downtown Québec today.

Toutant was supposed to compete in the Artic Challenge in Norway, but decided to come back to Canada to nurse a bruised rib.

Toutant, the young international snowboard star also known as Seb Toots, won the FIS World Cup big air contest in Stockholm, as well as more recently, the gold in slopestyle at the X-Games, and the silver in the Big air.

Toutant is currently ranked first of the FIS World Cup standings in big air.

The big air, the showcase event of the 2011 Snowboard Jamboree, will be held today downtown Québec city. Check out the full start list here: http://www.fis-ski.com/pdf/2011/SB/7085/7085SLH1.pdf!
