Although some of the athletes had to enter the training for the second FIS Snowboard World Cup snowboard cross competition in lent clothes, gear and on someone else's boards - due to weather issues in Frankfurt a lot of equipment didn't arrive in time – everyone was enjoying the course in Telluride, CO, built by Jeff Ihaksi (CAN).
The former World Cup racer had put together a course again which the most riders described as “smooth, fast, nice, super fun”.
However, almost everyone struggled with the altitude. As a result, not only flat lights might be an issue over the course of the next days but also pumping enough air in the lunges.
Check out the video of today's training to see what some of the athletes said and how Nate Holland (USA) went down the course in Telluride, CO.
