Due to ongoing heavy winds, fog and rain fall, today's training for the snowboard cross event at the FIS Snowboard World Cup finals staged in Sierra Nevada, Spain, had to be cancelled.
Although the jury tried everything to make the session possible by postponing the start time over the course of the day, the weather situation didn't get any better.
Visibility variable three to ten meters as well as strong wind gusts thus forced the organisers to cancel today's training session and move it to tomorrow.
Although the schedule will thus be massively packed, the weather forecast definitely looks better.
An important point for racing on the course built by David Ny (SWE) as visibility is crucial for safety.
