While Ursina Haller and former World Champion Manuela Laura Pesko who just came back to competitive sport in Bad Gastein beginning of this month after a break of more than one and a half years are the only girls to be nominated, four men survived the tough battles for the Olympic spots.
After Iouri Podladtchikov, Christian Haller and Markus Keller had their tickets secured, a battle between three riders where fought out for the last spot. And the last trials in Davos brought a very close decision with the better end to Sergio Berger who finally edged off 15-years-old super talent Patrick Burgener by 1.1 points and Daniel Friberg by 1.3 points.
Although the trials are done and Swiss-Snowboard has named its riders, the final selection will be done by Swiss Olympic within the next days
