Nice ride for the athletes
There have been many big airs in different cities all around the world so far. But the on in Quebec City, Canada, is a very special one - when it comes down to transport.
Normally the riders have to climb up hundreds of stairs in order to get back to the start, get on their board and hit the kicker again. Sometimes there are elevators helping them to safe some energy.
But in Quebec, besides some few stairs at the very end, the riders travel the distance from finish back to the start in cars.
As the ramp is built right between exit and ramp of highway 440 and because the roads are blocked for public, the OC in Quebec uses the chance to provide some nice and special extra service pretty much appreciated by the field.
