World Champion posts best time

Markus Schairer (AUT) has underlined his role as favourites for today’s night finals of the season’s first snowboard cross race in Lech, Austria, by posting the best time.

While Schairer, the reigning World Champion, shared the best time with team mate Mario Fuchs (1:16:15), one rider from down under and from France also made it in the top-4.

Alex Pullin (AUS) needed 1:16:45 minutes for the 1,250 metres long course at Schlegelkopf. SBX World Cup title defender Pierre Vaultier (FRA) brought down a time of 1:16:72 minutes.
